In her response to the January 6th, 2021 US Capitol Riot, the artist questions what the US flag represents to different groups of people today. Dressed in all white with the white ribbon to symbolize Korean traditional funeral, Suhji holds a funeral for the US flag, deconstructing it respectfully thread by thread, hoping to strip it of its association with White Supremacists and White Evangelists.

The deconstructed flag will be restitched by the artist and that will be the final artifact of this piece.
