In Rain, Come Again, Suhji discusses the paradox of human rights in North Korea. The umbrella, which is red outside and gold inside presumably protects its people from rain, but in reality it keeps the people under the umbrella from receiving the basic needs of life. Each rain drop is handsewn and filled with short grain Korean rice.
